I show this one as leaving the factory in January 1945. The SN is fairly low for 1945, but not sure whether that really matters one way or another. Out of curiosity do you mind looking to see if you have any more details for a Remington Rand with SN 2,134,414? I've done a little research elsewhere but not seemed to find anything more specific than a year of production. Best wishes from the NamInfantryĨ11046 shipped to Springfield between August 15 and August 29, 1942.ġ115407 shipped to Springfield between September 3 and September 24, 1943. Thanks in advance for all that you have done on here. Just received my CMP Colt 1911A1 slide/receiver. Thanks!īack to our regularly-scheduled programming: Anyway, I'll try to answer shipping questions when I can, but just be patient. Now it exists and is growing, and that's not a good trend. Up until this year, I've had virtually no ignore list here. But if you just want to be an ignorant fool behind closed doors, I don't have time for you.

If you think I'm wrong, say so publicly I don't mind an honest debate. Unfortunately, it seems like the release of 1911s has attracted guys like old Fenris_Bane, who are not only "experts" but who also like to hide their low-self-confidence-induced vitriol behind PMs. I don't have the patience for the usual anonymous internet tough-guy nonsense you get most other places. I've had a lot going on lately and decided to limit my internet time to mostly this forum because the members here are generally great folks.
